1. Laddoo Holi, Barsana

3. Chhadimar Holi Celebration In Gokul

It is celebrated just before the main day of Holi at Banke Bihar Temple in Vrindavan. Holi is celebrated on Ekadashi. The doors of the temple are opened at around 4 pm, after which colorful flowers are thrown on the devotees by the priests. Mathura, Vrindavan, and Barsana are some of the best places to celebrate Holi in India.

5. Banke Bihari Temple, Vrindavan
Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan is the main center of Holi celebration In Mathura and Vrindavan the festival of Holi is celebrated for about 4 days, but in Banke Bihari Temple the main event is celebrated a day before the Holi festival. And all the doors of the temple are opened for the devotees and all the devotees are allowed to come inside and play Holi with Lord Krishna himself. Holi festival is also celebrated especially in the Dwarkadhish temple located near Vishram Ghat in Mathura. The festival starts a few days before Holi in Mathura.
A huge and colorful Holi Yatra starts from Vishram Ghat of Mathura at around 2.00 pm. And after roaming around the city it comes back to the same place. As the yatra progresses, people throw colors at each other, sing songs, and drink bhang mili and thandai. Some vehicles during the journey are decorated with flowers. Children also participate in this journey dressed as Radha-Krishna.
Holika Dahan is organized in the evening on the first day of Holi. In this custom, a big effigy of Holika is burnt with special rituals. The largest effigy is burnt near the Holi Gate in Mathura.

7. Holi Celebration In Mathura
On the main day of Holi, a huge festival is celebrated at the Dwarkadhish temple in Mathura. The doors of the temple open at 10 am, but a huge crowd already gathers there. Inside the temple, a leaf bowl filled with gulal and flowers is placed in front of the deity. You devotees can also throw some gulal towards God.
